1st Annual Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival
Planting Ceremony
and Taiko Performance

Saturday, April 18th @ 2 PM
Nashville Public Square
(in front of the Metro Courthouse)




The planting ceremony, featuring remarks from Mayor Karl Dean and Consul-General Hiroshi Sato, will be followed by a dynamic concert by the Japanese drumming group, Kaminari Taiko. This engaging performance is one not to be missed!

   

Japanese Fillm "ZEN"

The inspiring true story of legendary Zen Master Dogen is brought to vivid life on the screen, more than 750 years after he lived his extraordinary life.

 

ZEN, currently playing in Japanese
theaters, will be shown at our venues in Japanese with English subtitles. Not Rated - some material may be inappropriate for younger audiences. The movie is 127 minutes in length.

   

All showings are free and open to the public.
